Difference between document currency amount and hard currency amount in FBL3N

Hello all,

User have posted some documents in which the document currency and Hard currency ( Local currency 2 ) is the same but in FBL3N report it  is showing two different amounts for the same currency.

For example

Below amounts we can see in the FBL3N report
Document currency is MZN - 1,669,042.28

Hard currency ( Local currency 2 ) is also MZN  - 1,673,836.60

Can anyone help on how can there be a difference between document currency and local currency 2 when its the same currency having same exchange rate ?

Hello

It is not necessarily same exchange rate. Check OB22 for exchange rate type or if you are in S/4HANA check FINSC_LEDGER under "Global Currency Conversion Settings" or "Currency Conversion Settings per Company Code." You might find different exhange rates for currency type 10 and 40.

I checked in OB22 where different exchange rate types are maintained for company code currency and hard currency 
Co code currency (type 10) USD - Ex rate type M
Hard currency (type 40) - Ex rate type EPCC (Exploration production concession rate)
