Hi Experts,
is there anything we need to be aware of if we delete a work status?
I will confirm that the value is not used/locked before deleting of course.
Not seeing that there is any way to de-activate or hide, the only choice is to delete.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Eyal,
Can you please clarify what do you mean by deleting WS?
Do you want to disable it for the Model?
Or do you want to remove all settings made in a Model and reset everything to initial status?
Or you want to ignore WS setting at a particular intersection?
Or something else?

Gersh

Hi Gersh,
I'd like to disable such that the user can't see it or user it.
From my testing I deleted a particular work status (WS) from the model, via Administration>Features>Work Status and saw that as a result of the deletion, all the work status for other periods were reset (e.g. where the data intersection - in our case Entity/Category/Time/Currency were set to CLOSED the last setting, they now were updated to INPUT - the first setting).
So deletion is not effective for us.
Another option is to reorder an obsolete WS to be the last one so that the users don't have to pass through it.
For now we are leaving as is.
Thanks.
Eyal
If you can make sure that you don't have any region in that state you can try deleting corresponding records from tables UJW_STATCODE and UJW_STATCODET.
If you run system report on WS or audit report and it has to show something in that state report can crash. Otherwise it should be fine.
Regards,
Gersh
