Hi,
working with BPC RTC (1809) and S/4 the client uses the Fiori app to release data from S/4 to BPC. Can we, in this process, use mapping between flows used in S/4 and those we have in BPC? And if so, where do we define this mapping?
Thanks,
Arnold

Hi Vadim,
The data from S/4 is stored in the ACDOCA table, but before it can be consolidated in BPC it needs to be release via this FIORI App.

In S/4 the client uses the standard SAP flows or movement types. The 100 and 200 range for assets, 600 range for equity etc.So far they have only used certain flows (system is newly implemented). They are now looking to use more of the movement types in S/4 but don't want to set them all up in BPC. So, we would need some kind of mapping, so that any data in ACDOCA on flow 121 is shown on flow 110 when analysed through BPC.
Thanks,
Arnold

Sorry, release doesn't mean that the data is copied somehow.... And BPC directly use ACDOCA for consolidation with the help of HANA view. For RTC you have to use only S/4 master data (BPC and S/4 use the same S/4 master data)!
P.S. If you create Flow member in S/4 it will automatically come to BPC dimension.
Sorry, but what do you mean by "to release data from S/4 to BPC"???
In RTC the actual data comes directly from HANA view based on ACDOCA
And consolidation results are written to ACDOCC.
What do you mean by flow mapping???
