Data load from S/4 HANA with client 100 and BW with client 200 in NW BPC 10.1 Embedded Model

Hi,

Currently we are working on NW BPC 10.1 embedded model.

Here we have S/4 HANA with client 100 and BW with client 200 as source systems.

we have both master data and transaction in ECC and HANA systems, we are not getting data in BW system as there is no data for 200 client in source systems.

please help us where to configure/check this connectivity settings.

HI Anitha,

You can reach MD and TD in ECC client 100 from BW client 200. For this, when you login to AO select client 100. Since all BW config is cross client it will be available in 100 as well.

Can you please elaborate on "You can reach MD and TD in ECC client 100 from BW client 200".

As you suggested when we log in to AO we have to select client 100(ECC) means we are posting planning data directly to ECC system, am I correct?

Hi Anitha,

Out of the box configuration doesn't post anything to ECC. Your real-time cube is in BW, i.e. client independent. You can retrieve data from ECC (client 100), but you post data to BW. MultiProvider combines them.
