Data is not stored at process wise function tables

Hi

We have installed PaPM V3.0 SP04.

We have created two process types P1000 and P1001 for Environment T01 Version 5. We have assigned function 10137 (Plant derivation) to both the processes.

First we executed process P1000, data of stored in table function 10137 table Y220T01000510137 with process order reference P1000.

Then we executed process P1001. Earlier stored data in function table of process P1000 is replaced by P1001 process.

In all PaPM function table having field of “process type” and “activity type” so data should stored with for all processes and should not be refreshed with latest executed process.

In other system where we installed PaPM V3.0 SP03, system keeps data at process level. In above example function table having information for both processes.

Is it SAP standard feature to not store data at process level from SP04?

Regards,
Malay

Hi Justine,

Thanks for response. As you explained, it was working exactly same till we are on SP03. But once we upgrade to SP04, data of earlier run process is replaced with latest process run.

Is there any SAP note needs to be implemented?

Hi,

a process (like P1000 and P1001) should have and is having unique data records written in Y table. if you run with a process P1000 only the data coming from this process ID will be updated and the data records coming from P1001 will be respected and not touched.

regards,

Justine
