Data Access Profiles Configuration

Hi everyone,

I have asked a question here https://answers.sap.com/questions/125956/do-not-allow-a-user-to-send-data-via-input-form-bp.html and it seems that my problem is related with the DAP configuration.

In the environment we have 3 cubes (Forecast, Rate and Validation) and 3 queries for each cube.

I am going to show what I am doing in order to configure them.

I go to RSECADMIN and Maintain Authorizations. I am going to create 6 analysis authorization (3 for the cubes and 3 for the queries).

For the Forecast Cube I have the following:

ZDATATYPE and ZENTITY are the relevant dimensions (I have already checked them as relevant dimensions).

I choose the InfoCube:

And I add the values 02 and 03 in 0TCAACTVT

And also select all the hierarchies for all the dimensions:

For the Forecast query, I have done the same:

The only difference is that I choose the Query instead of the InfoCube:

I repeat these steps for the other 4 authorization analysis and then I go to RSECENVI to add them to the environment:

If I go to the BPC Web I can see them:

Then I assign my user to a DAP:

and if I go to su01 and check the authorization objects for the user DELTEST2 I have the following:

Which is obviously wrong, so I change it manually.

I also have this configuration in the BW analysis Authorizations:

But when I log into EPM I get this error:

NOTE: If I change the BI Analysis Authorizations to 0BI_ALL I can log but I want to have some restrictions.

NOTE2: In RSECPROT I get the following Error Log:

NOTE3: I think that the problem is the configuration of the Analysis Authorizations because I have added a new Authorization Analysis just with the basics (no dimensions):

And I CAN log into EPM, however I CANNOT see the members of the dimensions ENTITY and DATATYPE (that are the relevant dimensions):

I would appreciate any help, this is driving me crazy.

Hi,

For 0TCAACTVT authorization add 02(change) as setting instead of 03(display), also for 0TCAIPROV authorization are you adding the infoprovider???

Hi Priyanka,

I have both added (02 and 03) to 0TAACTVT and I get the same error. If I also add 02 I get the error oo.

For 0TCAIPROV I have all InfoProviders added (*).

After creating the analysis authorisations objects are you assigning them to the individual users? using RSECADMIN?. I couldnt see that screenshot so asked...

I assign them using the BI Analysis authorization object (12th image) and automatically they appear in RSECADMIN, as you can see:
