Hi Team,

I am simulating one Export Declaration from DE to CH in testing system. I am facing Error messages LHS " Authorization with type ZA/SDE/EIR must be specified" and not able to identify the solution. I have checked 'Check procedure Field Assignment' but there is no fields assigned. It it totally blank. I am not sure from where the error message is being triggered even after creating the Authorization for ZA type with Valid date. I want to know how the Messages basically triggers in Declaration document? please help me.

Thanks in advance

Hi Srikanth/Arun,

Now i got your question. You mean to say that the Incompletion Procedure whichever your are using is completely blank. So you would like to know from where system is triggering the incomplete message. You are absolutely correct. In most of cases of Export scenario we observe that the 'Incompletion Proceure will be blank but still system triggers Incompletion message. So to understand this, please check which Functional Module is assigned against first message. You need to check the respective Function Module. Sometimes, messages are hard coded in the FM. Please validate and let me know.

Thanks,

To Arun's point; sorry if I answered the wrong question.

Such messages are triggered by the Incompletion Procedure that is assigned to the Message Type.

The Incompletion Procedure runs when you call it (the "balance" icon) or when you try to send the Message.

Hi Srikanth,

I think you need either an "Approved Exporter" or a "Simplified Customs Declaration" Authorization (so Type 'AZ' or 'VV'), depending on which type corresponds with your intended Export process.

For the 'AZ', characters 7 and 8 of the External Number should be 'ZA'. For the 'VV', characters 3 - 5 of the External Number should be either 'SDE' or 'EIR', depending on whether you are simulating a Simplified Declaration or the use of "Entry in Declarant's Records" (actually that last choice sounds very unlikely). If the Authorization is issued by the German authorities, then the first two characters should be 'DE' in all cases.

If you are going to be working in the EU Customs area, then it seems you have quite a lot of reading to do, getting to know the Union Customs Code.

Hope that helps.

Dave

Hi Dave,

If you go through in last sentence of Srikant query is "I want to know how the Messages basically triggers in Declaration document?" that mean he wants to know how this error message appearing? where it is configured if we want to add more errors where we can do configure or develop it.

If possible please share your expertise in this thread.

Hi Srikanth,

Are you creating this Export Declaration manually or w.r.t an Invoice? in either of the case, if you double click to the incompletion message, system will take you to the required field where value is missing. is it not happening with you? Moreover, when exactly you are getting this error?

Thanks,
