Customs documents are blocked in GTS which are already completed the billing in SAP ECC

Hi Experts,

i have a strange issue in my current project as i have seen many documents are in Technical Incomplete status, Legal Control Block & SPL Block. but the issue is already these customs documents are processed in SAP ECC like outbound delivery, billing and released to accounting. the business has a customized program which is allowing the user to create subsequent documents even though the document is blocked in GTS. but now the Business is asking to clear those documents in Production. Please advise me how to clear these documents in GTS.

Hi Srinivas,

Root cause for this strange issue seems to be due to the custom program at your client system to ignore the GTS block during subsequence document creation OBD and Goods issue.

Once the GI/GR are processed, as per GTS standard behavior it updates the Customs document as 'Not Relevant' for GTS check i.e. /SAPSLL/CUIT-ITREC flag is updated from 'X' to 'BLANK'.

Once this flag is set to BLANK then the Customs documents gets on the permanent block, in the scenario you mentioned above.

Please check if this is the case in your scenario and confirm back.

I had similar situation for Import (IBD/GR) and after confirmation from SAP the only option was to clear these 'Permanently Blocked' documents using a custom program to make our blocked document report better by getting rid of these permanently blocked documents.

In your case, please advise your client not to ignore GTS blocks and stops processing to the next steps of OBD, GI using custom program, this is very risky as the whole purpose of compliance check get defeated if you ignore the blocks, this will help to avoid future such issues.

For the existing blocked documents, As mentioned please check the ITREC and confirm back. If thats the case then custom program is the only solution which your ABAP resource can help you.

Hi Srinivas,

That is correct, competed documents have ITREC = blank in table /sapsll/cuit. If the documents are blocked for SPL, have you tried clearing using the "Cancel SPL block".

Thanks for your detailed explanation for my issue. i have already verified the Field: ITREC in /SAPSLL/CUIT which is blank. As you said the Standard SAP program updated all these documents as not Relevant for check. so, I am waiting for Business approval to clear these documents from the Report using Custom Program.

The documents are "complete", have you tried rechecking the documents (using transaction

/SAPSLL/CUHD_MR_EXP)?

we have already tried all the possibilities, but re-checking of the document will remain the same status of the document because the field ITREC become blank as per standard SAP functionality. we discussed the consequences with our client and waiting for their approval on further approach to clear these reports.

yes, we can clear the Technical incomplete documents by verifying the log for each Customs Document.it is a regular practice for every GTS Consultant.But my question is about SPL & Legal Control blocked documents, where system is not allowing to do release from SPL Block and assign License to the Products in the Customs Documents.

Hi Srinivas,

what is the reason for technically incomplete documents? You can see that in the log. Based on that, correct it and resend the documents from ERP.

In ERP, subsequent documents were created possibly because your copy control may not be checking the status in GTS.
