Dear Expert,
We recently changed product classifications from 2A002A1c and 1D002D1d to 1B002B (cut off the last two digits).
Will this have any impact in the customs declaration (entered in the “Details” field)?
Does 1B002B have to be created somewhere or is it not a problem at all if we now use this new classification?
Thanks
Ramesh
Hi Ramesh,
Its a standard GTS Compliance - Customs Integration functionality and is controlled at below SPRO node.
-> SPRO - Global Trade Services - General Settings - Document Structure - Activate Item Categories for Application Areas (Activate Item Category CLPOS Declaration)
Thanks,

Hi Ramesh,
Legal control codes may not impact your customs declaration process directly, however, you may need to consider below from the integration perspective.
- Update/create - existing compliance licenses with the new codes
- If the legal control check is activated for the customs declaration process - Check if there are existing open declarations and update with new license if required.
Regards,
Raj Mirikar
