Customs Declaration Service (CDS) available without GTS?

Hi all,
Is there a solution for CDS available in SAP, without GTS. I have already found some OSS notes for the CDS integration in SAP, but they are all refering to the GTS module. It looks like this can only be done with GTS or a third party software. Can you please confirm? Thank you!

Hi Markus,

No, you need GTS to transact Customs Management in SAP.

I wonder why you would expect (or even hope for) a solution without GTS. Even for ATLAS, you need to use GTS, which is - as far as I know - the only SAP system that maintains Customs Management solutions. The partial export solutions in the old R3 / ECC "Foreign Trade" area has not been updated for a long time now.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your input, SAP confirmed that as well. For ATLAS we are using a 3rd party software, but for CDS our plant in UK requested a solution, which is not part of our template yet. We are using the INTRASTAT reporting in ECC, thats why I hoped, there might be a solution for CDS available as well.
