Customize access request screen with Incident Management [ ticket number ] details

Team, Please let me know if there is a possibility to customize access request screen with: -

To include logged incident management ticket number.

To include same incident management ticket number in all email notification's sent [ role approver notification and access request email notifications ].

Hi Raj,

You don’t necessarily need to create a custom filed for this requirement. Instead, you can try the following:

1. Look for a relevant field from EUP settings, see if you can use it in your access request screen. Please make sure this field is currently not being used in access request. Now, you can configure the selected field as “mandatory” in EUP settings, in order for the users to fill it mandatorily in access request screen.

2. You can always edit the field name in access request screen that you selected from EUP settings in order to fit to your requirement. It can be done by right clicking on the access request screen where this field is appearing and navigating to “Settings for Current Configuration”. Make sure you have the admin rights.

3. After the field is configured to store the incident number data in all access requests, this needs to be configured in approver email templates (e.g. role approver template) to fulfil your second requirement. Please note you would need to add a custom notification variable for the incident number field in the email template, since it wouldn’t be available as a standard SAP delivered notification variable.
