Currency conversion in BPC Embedded

Hi All,

I am trying to know the Currency conversion option ijn BPC Embedded scenario

Usually there is a planning function Currency Conversion which is used to convert from one KF to other KF. You maintain the Currency translations in table TCURV and run the Planning function.

If you store Exchange rates in ECC (on HANA ideally sFIN implemented), if this is the case do we use Planning function to convert currency on the fly at reporting level ?

Any blog showing this would be really helpful (any links)

Hi Krishna,

You can use either option. I'd suggest first try it on the fly and check in statistics if it takes too much time. In such case you can change it to a Planning Function and speed it up.
