Hello all,
We are facing error with Currency conversion in SAP Standard Sample Content on Operational Transfer Pricing (Environment: SXG, Version: 14).
Exchange rate table (MTEXC) is maintained as model table with the relevant rates as part the sample content. We have verified that the Authoring Schema Name and Conversion Rates Table (which is the exchange rates model table) are correct in the 'Conversion Types' configuration with Exchange rate type ‘EURX’. The relevant standard conversion tables (i.e., TCURX, TCURV, TCURN, TCURF) are also maintained.
While trying to run the Conversion function i.e. ‘Convert Invoices to Global Currency’ (COGLC) we are getting the error below though there is exchange rate maintained for the below mentioned ‘From Currency’, ‘To Currency’ and ‘Effective Date’ in the exchange rate model table(MTEXC).
Error Message:
currency/unit conversion error: "SAP_PAPM"."P105SXG14COGLC": search table error: No error; $message$=Conversion( "PSWBT" ), row 0: could not determine valid conversion rate for value(s) -1318.2 from unit 'USD' to unit 'EUR' on date 2020-04-21 00: 00: 00.0000000
Relevant Rate from MTEXC:
Please advise.
Thanks,
Shoba

Hello shobavadlamudi,
By default the table TCURF is used for FX rates when no table name has been maintained for the field "Rates Table" for the conversion type "MAN_CON" at the environment level. It seems that the required FX rates were not maintained in this table. When you want to use MTEXC instead of TCURF as rates table, you would need to populate its technical name Y105SXG14MTEXC to the "Rates Table" field according to your environement id & version. Hi shobavadlamudi,
since you're using a table in your environement, the authoring schema shall be SAP_PAPM. Furthermore you would only need the string Y105SXG14MTEXC (literally, without schema name, nor double quotes) for the field "Conversion Rates Table". You're also recommended to read this blog from Justine: https://blogs.sap.com/2022/08/16/sap-papm-cloud-conversion-trick-to-use-external-tcur-and-t006-table....
