CPQ requires current user as owner error

I'm encountering with error below while trying to replicate sales quote from c4c to cpq. In my case employee responsible and login users are different. Since managers will be able to assign sale quotes to empoyees and send it to CPQ system on behalf of employees, login user and employee responsible may be different from each other. I think sap makes it necessary to perform single sign on process between c4c and cpq in a healthy way.

I wanted to know, is there a way to be able execute my case (different employee and login user in C4C for quote) by overcoming this error?

Hi mertkanp ,

As of now this is the product limitation. The current user has to be the login user while creating CPQ quote.

Thanks for your answer. I'm going to vote it.

As of now, as a workaround I'm going to use sales party instead of employee responsible in order to avoid from this limitation.
