Dear Experts,

We have requirement, where we are Planning to create a new BPC Model in BPC 11.0 version and this has generated a /CPMB/XXI*02 ADSO and a Composite provider /CPMB/XXM*02

We also have another existing BPC Model in the same Environment with the same structure and has an ADSO /CPMB/XXI*01.

To achieve the consolidated Planning & Reporting, Considering the Existing data in Model ADSO /CPMB/XXI*01. We are Planning include the ADSO /CPMB/XXI*01 inside the Composite provider /CPMB/XXM*02.

We tried this in our Sandbox and it worked. Do you foresee any risk or issue here?

Thanks,

kmsanand145I think this is in context of BPC Standard. Playing around with generated backend objects like ADSO/Composite providers etc. is a strict No. SAP mentions this in its training documentation also. Technically you can add the Model 2 ADSO within Model 1 Composite provider but this only helps you to combine them from backend Bex Reporting point of view. EPM reports or BPC front end will still treat them as separate model. Also after doing your experiment in your Sand box did you try testing all BPC features like inputting data from EPM forms. BPC Script logic, BPC security/work status etc. Given there are so many feature dependency on /CPMB object I would not suggest you to play with generated objects. Also as BPC models are real time providers, please check the impact of open requests on Bex reporting. From what I remember the data in last open request of the provider was never included in reporting.

Hope this helps !!

Thank you, Nikhil for your Inputs. Yes, I tried all the functionalities, Input template, Custom Write back logic, Logic Script and it worked so far.
