Country COA for Morocco

Hi SAP,

We are rolling out a company in Morocco. There is a requirement to build country COA for Morocco. I checked the link to create a country COA. https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/0fa84c9d9c634132b7c4abb9ffdd8f06/555752c222fa48558a374b7f...

Is there any way to copy a reference country COA that similar to Morocco? Thank you.

In CBC, when defining the Organizational Structure and Scope, SAP may propose a standard country COA if one exists for Morocco.

Unfortunately, as of now, SAP does not deliver a predefined Moroccan COA out-of-the-box.

You can double-check this during the scoping phase by:

• Navigating to the "Define Scope" phase in CBC
• Reviewing the list of available Charts of Accounts for selection

If Morocco isn’t listed, then proceed to create a custom one.

How to create a custom COA :

Use a reference COA (like France) as a template

Since you can’t directly “copy” COAs in CBC, here’s the workaround:

• During the Define Configuration Values step, create a custom COA (e.g., YMC)
• Use France’s COA or another similar one as a reference
• Export that COA structure (if you have access in another system or tenant)
• Adjust the accounts as needed for Moroccan rules
• Upload your G/L accounts using the mass upload template provided in CBC or by your SAP implementation partner

Hi Jeremy, Thanks for your instruction. I checked your link and Manage Operating Chart of Accounts app that allows to create a worklist to mass upload G/L accounts. However, it is applicable for operating COA only. Is there any way to upload country COA G/L accounts? Thank you.
