Consolidation is successful when control fails

    Hi Experts,

i have run the controls from control monitor and it got failed for few conditions, which is correct.

but after executing consolidation from consolidation monitor, my consolidate gets successful even though controls get failed for few entities and groups.

can you please help me to resolve this issue. screenshot is attached for your reference.

Hi,

There are 2 control type:

(1) Warning : Warns the user but doesn't prevent user to go to next process

(2) Blocking : Prevents user from going to next process until blocking status is cleared.

It looks like you have set the control type as "Warning"

Hi,

By default, control is designed to be executed at transaction data. So if you are executing controls at consolidated data, it will not work.

But there is an enhancement in BPC 10.1 SP06, controls can be executed at consolidated level.

To achieve this, you will  be required to add "ENABLE_CTRL_ON_DIFF_LEVELS" in global parameters and set the values to "X".
