Hi All,

We are implementing BPC 11.0 (standard) Consolidation. Business requires Legal and Management consolidation. In terms of Management consolidation they need the consolidation like below. Main Group --> Under this Segments --> under this Profit centers Group --> Under this PC. Business wants to see the consolidated report at Segment level / Profit center level. How can we achieve this requirement? please suggest the best method.

Thanks, Rao

Hey Madhu,

Try look into Matrix consolidation in BPC. Start with this and let me know if you have any other questions!

Sorry, but again, eliminations in BPC are based on entity and intercompany. For other things you have to create your own BPC 🙂

Eliminations in BPC are performed on entity dimension type.

Hi,

Could you please elaborate more.

For the Legal consolidation point of view, will maintain Entity type dimension already. This will be useful for Eliminations based on company & InterCo. combinations.

Where as for the Management reporting at Profit center level and Segment level how these eliminations will taken care. How can we design this.

Sorry, but looks like you need better understanding of customer requirements! What customer means under "consolidation"?

Hello Vadim,

Below is the structure for the Management consolidation point of view.

Eliminations should happen at with in the profit center level

Report should be based on Segment level and Profit center level.

Legal consolidation will be happen between the holding and subsidiary companies, apart from that, they want to see the report like below in terms of Management reporting point of view.

Thanks,

Rao
