connection types in EPM

hello all,

I have the latest version of EPM add-in ( analysis 2.1) installed. when i am tryinh to create a connection , under connection types, it is not showing SAP Business Objects enterprise ?

do i need to additionally install anything apart from EPM add-in

I already created a EPM connection on CMC

Hi Karthik,

Analysis 2.1 is not EPM add in.

goto SAP software center and download EPM add in SP23

Analysis 2.1/ EPM add-in are now part of single installation

its now one single installation for both analysis and EPM from 2.1 , previously both were separate installs

FYI - 2.1 was GA just few weeks back

How ever i do have previous version of EPM to which has same issue. I am assuming , if there is any pre configurations needs to be done to enable the SAP Businessobjects enterprise connection in connection type

No, you just install the software and it should list all the different connections you can have.

what options is listed in your connection type?

take a screen shot.

It shows the below

P &CM for net weaver

P&CM for office

Local

SAP BW (INI)

eventually, .my plan is to connect to BOBJ and use EPM connections created in BOBJ

Is there any option when you install Analysis 2.1?

according to this blog maybe there is a option during installation?
