Configuring SAP Business Workflow for parked documents (FIPP)

Hello experts,

during a SAP S/4HANA implementation, we have the requirement for parked document approvals via SAP Business Workflow (object type FIPP). I need advice on the following issue:

So far, I did the configuration in customizing under ‘Make and Check Settings for Document Parking’, I created the workflow variant, assigned company code and defined release approval paths and procedures for parking documents including mentioning needed subworkflow WS51000020 (FIPP_SUBWFN2, two step approval except initiator). Also, I defined users for release authorizations for each approval level in OBWF. Beforehand, I activated the type linkage in transaction SWE2 for workflow framework WS00400032 for event CREATED as well as event linking in transaction OOCU is activated.

When I create a document with transaction FB01 and save it as completed, I check afterward in FBV3 and see the document is not released as expected. When I check workflow -> workflow overview, I see that workflow is not going through as expected. In display workflow log, I check the error message in work item and it says error in workflow customizing for document parking in OBWE. I checked the transaction and related customizing, but I am unable to find the hidden mistake.

Does anyone have an advice on how to solve this issue? Is there anything else to consider?
