Hi Exeprts,
We have SAP ERP and SAP BW on the same machine, with different client numbers (300 for ERP and 100 for BW). the default one is 300.
The issue I have is when I try to connect to BPC from EPM add-in using this adress: http://MyAdress:MyPort/sap/bpc I get the message: no environment available on the server ...that's normal cauz it connects to the default client number (300).
My question is, how can we specify the client number in the EPM add-in URL adress ?
Thank's a lot for your help.

Hi Abdessamad,
That link will only work for the client that you setup the web service.
ie: if you expose that link from client 300 then it will be client 300.
Look at the installation guide it will guide you on how to setup.

Hi andy,
Using SAP GUI, I connect to the client 100 when BPC is installed. in the t-code SICF, I test the BPC web service and it works fine. I noticed that in the URL syntaxe it's specified the client number: ?sap-client=100.
The issue I have that I dont know how to specify the client number in the URL on Excel Interface...
PS: ERP and BW/BPC are on the same instance. ERP is using the client 300 and BW/BPC is on the client 100. The default client is 300. So when I connect from Execl interface without specifying the client number, I get the message : No environnement available, because it tries to connect to the default client 300...
Thank's a lot for your help.
Abdess,
Hi Abdessamad
Please get in touch with your Basis team to have URL configured. They can ensure the right client to be referred when launching BPC web client.

Can try to login from web and then excel interface.
If successful then copy the connection string.
