Condition Date Before Contract Date

Dear Guru,

We have scenario let say contract is initially planned start from 01.04.2023 - 31.03.2025. Tenant wants to do fitting out unit first from 01.02.2023. Due to unpredictable fitting out finish date, then contract still in draft version (not activated). We plan after fitting out finish then contract start date will be updated and activate the contract. The challange is we want to request Rental Security Deposit at 01.01.2023 and charge electricity start from 01.02.02023. The question is :

1. How we create security deposit contract if the main lease contract still possibly changes the contract date?

2. How we input condition valid date for security deposit and electricity charges since the contract start date is 01.04.2023?

Hi Budi,

In RE-FX can use the Possession Dates to extend the postings before or after the contract start and end date. In the IMG you must make sure that the contract type has the setting "Poss. Dates Active?" selected. These Possession dates well then become visible on the Term tab of the contract.
