Comments is Mandatory while rejecting BPF activity ??

Hi All,

In BPC 10.1 system when we are rejecting BPF activity at approver level a comments box appears as a mandatory option to put comments.

Is there any possible solution to make that as a optional rather then mandatory

Hi Satish,

I dont think this it is a good idea.....And as I recall this functionality was not there in 10..and many users complain about this as the business people will require a reason for the rejection! which is correct also. It was suggested in Idea place too and thus I think it was introduced in 10.1. I guess you will have to enter something in the comment, cannot bypass it. Perhaps I don't think its a good idea to alter the STD SAP programs....

Users are happy with this new functionality but not the business .
