We have RE-FX activated within our S/4HANA Cloud tenant to handle IFRS16 Lease Accounting postings. As part of the standard business process from RE-FX, postings to a clearing account are made from the RE-FX module - these are 'ledger specific' i.e. made as postings to specific single ledger (2L for IFRS Accounting).
However, the other business process postings that result in offsetting postings to the lease clearing account are made with no specific ledger derivation (our leading ledger is 2L).
That prevents us being able to clear open items in the clearing account because we are unable to clear ledger-specific postings against postings that are not ledger-specific.
Our Business Process experts have reviewed the available tenant config around RE-FX and are unable to find any setting that would allow us to prevent the RE-FX postings to be ledger-specific, and the practicalities of having other business process areas having to determine isolated occasions to post ledger specific transactions if they apply to IFRS16 leases is not a likely training success.
Has any other tenant discovered any way to either a) make RE-FX postings non-ledger specific (i.e. post with ledger selection null) or b) identified a process to allow the clearing of non-ledger specific items against items that are posted to individual ledger all within the leading ledger?
