Trying to use SAP GUI (Windows), to access a GRC client. Filling in a popup to enter a tracking number and description to checkout a more powerful (firefighter) ID.
Select the Tracking Number from a Web Window running HP Service Manager, use Ctrl-C to copy it to the Clipboard.
In the SAP GUI Popup entry field (to quote the tracking number and add some text description), use Ctrl-V to try paste from the Clipboard.
SAP GUI popup window goes grey,
Popup become un-selectable/un-clickable.
Underlying SAP Window is un-selectable/un-clickable. (Only the corner Close Icon will respond)
Need to force frozen SAP GUI Window to close. When Windows offers to close the window, ALL SAP GUI & SAP Logon windows get closed. Even if they were for different systems/clients, no prompts, any unsaved data is lost.

Hello Jude: Unfortunately, the GUI patch version is dictated by the Corporate Install image. I am unable to update, until after it has been tested by another department.
I did find a work-around, though.
Adjust the GUI Visual Design to the "SAP Signature Theme".
Now the Windows 10 Clipboard, Copy&Paste works properly. Even when the source is a web browser.
Note: Before finding the work-around; The problem was worst, when the browser was displayed on one Monitor, with the SAP GUI in a different Monitor. If both were on the same monitor, it would work, most times.

Hello Roberto,
You have a very old gui patch, please use at least patch 10 and let us know if the issue still exists.
