Hi Neha,
Thanks for your feedback.
You cannot really move the chargeable item class to a different catalog.
If it was not attached to anything else, you could duplicate it ("Open as a copy"), save it somewhere else and delete the initial version, but this is not possible in this case, because the consumption item mapping depends upon it, so you are not allowed to delete it.
Consequently, the solution here consists in deleting the mapping, then the class, and then recreating them in the proper catalog.
Best regards.

Hi Francois,
The Chargeable item class got created in other catalog.Ideally it should have been created in the catalog in which Consumption item class was present,All our Charged item class ,Charge plan,Price plan ,Consumption item class are in one catalog and Chargeable item class is in other.
Is there any to move Chargeable item class to other catalog.Whats your suggestion in this case.

Neha.

Hi Neha,
I'm not sure of the root cause here.
The best way to diagnose that is to reproduce the full scenario while the JCO,HCI debug traces are enabled in the CC updater and dispatcher. This will show precisely all the queries sent back and forth (between Core tool and CC, and between CC and ERP)
Then, in order to send your trace files, it would be best to open a BCP ticket. Can you do that, please, and let me know if you need any assistance with that?
Best regards.

Hi Neha,
Your screen captures seem to indicate that all the steps have successfully completed and that the chargeable item class has been successfully created in CC.
To verify that, please close and reopen the catalog view, or simply use the File|Open menu item.
You can also get logs on the server side (dispatchers and updaters), by temporarily enabling the HCI and JCO debug traces. This will show you the communication between Core tool and CC, and between CC and ERP.
For that, you must modify two parameters: LS_TRC_DOMAIN ("HCI,JCO") and LS_TRC_SEVERITY ("DEBUG").
The procedure is described in the CC Tuning guide:
The logs are generated in the work/log/ folder of each instance: /usr/sap/<SID>/CC<Xnn>/work/log
If the issue gets complicated to diagnose, I recommend you to create a BCP ticket about it, so you can send log files and get more detailed advice.
Best regards.

Hi Francois,
There are no error message after Verify step in the Consumption Item mapping as such ,what we noticed is that the option to save to database is disabled for consumption item mapping. Not sure it should be active.Nor does it trigger the FM ./1FC/XXXX_CIT_CREATE_PROXY.Is there any way we can check logs.Currently we are on S4-1909 and CC 5 SP1. Do we have to upgrade to SP04 or higher.

Hi Neha,
Can you please be more specific about what happens in CC when trying to generate the chargeable item class? Do you get error messages? If so, please send them here, or create a BCP ticket on IS-CC, which makes it easier to exchange log files etc.
Regarding the consumption item class itself, I have no information about the correct configuration because this is in ERP. You should open a BCP ticket on the dedicated component, unless an ERP specialist can provide help directly here.
Best regards.

Hi Neha,
Capture 4 (Core tool's validator) confirms that you have defined a proper consumption item mapping, which must be accepted by the server.
On the other hand, capture 66 (error message) indicates that your CC dispatcher is not allowed to execute any requests anymore on ERP, because the JCo account is locked, due to an excessive number of failed authentication attempts.
To solve this, you must just unlock the JCo account, directly in ERP (you may need an ERP specialist for this).
In the process of unlocking the JCo account, you'll probably need to change its password.
If not, your problem should be solved and you can just continue creating your class in CC.
Otherwise, you must first replicate that new password in Convergent Charging's JCo configuration, using the following steps:
1. First, export the current jco.destination configuration file, using setup.sh:
https://help.sap.com/doc/d847860d561a47568a936d5f3cbeb9da/5.0/en-US/sapcc_uis/tool/setupJCoDestinati...
2. Then, edit the file to set the new password in there ("jco.client.passwd" property).
3. Reimport the modified file using setup.sh again:
https://help.sap.com/doc/d847860d561a47568a936d5f3cbeb9da/5.0/en-US/sapcc_uis/tool/setupJCoDestinati...
4. As explained in the previous page, you must then restart CC in order to take the new JCo password into account.
Everything should then be back in order.
Best regards.

Hi Neha,
The procedure to create a new consumption item mapping and the matching chargeable item class from an existing consumption item class is described in Core tool's documentation:
If this doesn't solve your issue, can you please be more specific about the problem you're facing?
Are you getting error messages? If you need to send logs and screen captures, we recommend you to create a BCP ticket on IS-CC.
Best regards.
