Changing the Default (Predelivered) Email template for Customer Statement Scheduled Job

I am hoping someone has the knowhow on changing the default email template for use with the Create Correspondence: Customer Statement Job in S4HANA Cloud.

We created a Customer Email Template which works for sending Individual statements, but when scheduling a job, it defaults to the predelivered SAP Email Template (FIN_CUS_ST_EMAIL_TEMPLATE).

We are unable to delete the Email Template itself, and are unable to delete the reference to it in IMG. There are no options in the Schedule Accounts Receivable Job nor in the Job Templates to modify which email template is being selected.

If it helps, we are using a 3-Layer system (Dev>QA>Prod) and I have the appropriate access.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

To change the default email template used with the Create Correspondence: Customer Statement Job in SAP S4HANA Cloud, follow these steps:

  1. Copy the Predelivered Template: Open the ‘Maintain Email Templates’ app and navigate to the Predelivered tab. Receivables Management - Creating and Using a Custom Email Template

    • Find the template FIN_CUS_ST_EMAIL_TEMPLATE.
    • Select it and choose ‘Copy’.
    • Assign a new name to the copied template.
  2. Modify the New Template:

    • Go to the Custom tab to locate your new template.
    • Make the necessary modifications, such as adding languages or altering the HTML content.
    • Save your changes.
  3. Assign the Custom Template:

    • This step requires maintaining business rules for the template.
    • Use the ‘Output Parameter Determination’ app. Configuring Custom Form and Email Templates for Pu… - SAP Community
    • Select the Determination Step related to Email Settings.
    • Add a new rule for the job or correspondence and specify the ID of your custom template.
    • Save and activate the changes.

Thanks so much Dequan - I was missing the Output Determination Parameters step (hadn't scrolled far enough to the right to review the assigned template #facepalm)
