Hello,
To describe my problem, a certain role approver is not receiving notifications through mail, which he was able to receive earlier.
I went into maintain paths in msmp workflow, selected the proper path and stage by viewing the details in audit log of the concerned grc request, and checked that the notification settings . Notification for new work items was not maintained, so the conclusion for me was that is the reason the role approver is not getting any notifications by mail. But the approver confirmed that he was able to get the notifications earlier through mail and now it has stopped. So my guess is somebody has changed the configuration details.
The email of the approver is correctly maintained, and the approver is receiving the items in GRC work-inbox. The issue is woth email notifiations.
My questions are as follows:
1. Am I analyzing it correctly? If not, where do I have to look to find out why the approver is not getting email notification?
2. If somebody has indeed changed the MSMP configuration, how can I find out the date of the change and the person who has changed it?
3. How can I check if the email notification was triggered earlier for the approver?
Thanks in advance for any help regarding this.

Hi Sayan,
Your analysis seems to be in the right direction. Additionally, please refer to my responses to your queries and check if it helps.
1. If notification configuration is missing, in that case it wouldn't trigger notification email to any approver for that MSMP stage and not just a specific user. First check in t-code SOST to see if any notifications were triggered in the past. You need to put a filter with approver email id to check if emails got triggered or not. If there is an entry against the approver but with a warning or an error flag, it means there is an issue with the SCOT configuration for which you can reach out to your BASIS guy.
2. You can check table GRFNMWCNVERA to see changes made to active versions of the MSMP workflows, date and time of change and the person responsible for the change. It, however, will not show what changes were performed during the version generation.
3. SOST will help you here again. Make sure to filter date, time, send status and recipient email as per your requirement.
Note: Notifications appearing in SOST is an indication that MSMP workflow configuration for email notifications is correct and working fine.
Let me know if you need any more inputs.
Thanks,
Debashish
