Changed Member default format issue on protected report

Hello,

I have an issue about an option of the formatting sheet (changed member default format). It works on my report only when it's unprotected. After protecting it with EPM function, it doesn't work (see picture enclosed).

I am using version 10.0 SP23.

Someone already met this issue ?

Thanks for your answer !

Hi Eduard,

Just tested, it's working. You have to properly set lock on the required cells!

At least:

Hierarchy Level Formatting

Priority set to column

Yellow data - EPM Unlocked

Both Headers - Locked

Dimension member/property formatting

Priority set to column

Result after worksheet protection:

P.S. Same result with workbook protection!

Indeed, it works if USE=ALL on my report.

If USE = FONTCOLORINDEX it doesn't work...

Is it the same for you ?

Yes, I can confirm that without USE=ALL it will not work!

Possible workaround - use ALL and format this cell the same color as other data entry cells... Not perfect but...

Hi Arnold,

I protect it with EPM function :

Options > Sheet Options > Protection > Protect Workbook

Hi Edouard,

as Vadim says, that should work unless you have a conflict on your formatting sheet.
