Overview: update profile 00350

Online payment update is active.

I have a requirement which is to have the fund assigned at the time of payment

Assume We have a Project / funded program with a total approved budget 3 Million.

At the payment stage ( Payment budget )

The first payment should consume from PB Fund X will be selected

The second payment should consume from PB Fund Y will be selected

Third payment should consume from PB Fund Z will be selected with 60 % and fund X will be selected of 40 %

While keeping in mind whenever we start the project, there no clarity of the funds and percentage that will be used at the time of payment.

How this can be achieving in SAP

IN SAP

I have created PO with 1 line that reduces the commitment budget with 3 million,

but when it comes to payment I was unable to select the fund it ‘self because system is using the same budget address called on the PO,

Thanks Tammy for you answer , As you said this could be a resolution such cases .

but in my case all the payments go through this process (fund is not determined till the real payment occur) So creating fund Transfer after finance payment document generation will add more complexity for the payment process .

I was looking for away or a resolution at the of payment it self, as from business perspective in my situation ,

Government approves the project Commitment budget regardless which fund will be used at the time of payment , then at the time of payment it gives clear instructions to my organization which fund to be used to for paymrent,

Again , I appreciate you help.

I don't think you can change the fund at time of payment.

What you can do is after payment allocate the payments using the FMWA transaction, and consider value types 57 & 64 as "payments". This is the only way I can think of.
