CHANGE DIMENSION ON A CONFIGURED MODEL SAP BPC

Hi experts,

In a configured template I had the need to change a dimension in my model, the dimension was created from the beginning as a replica of the previous one, when eliminating the previous dimension from my template a dialog box appears requesting a change of Hierarchy / Dimension. (view image)

The old dimension is called "Contract" and the new dimension is called "Contracts_EEPP"

When choosing the new dimension, the dialog box disappears and the template is removed from the model and does not give the option to reconnect.

The previous actions to include the new dimension are the following

• dimension change in Script Logic.

• Dimension change in transformation file.

• Dimension change in Conversion File.

• Dimension change in local members.

• Dimension change in EPM and excel formulas within the template.

Can someone help me by indicating the steps to completely unlink the contract dimension so that it does not present a conflict in my template?

It's not a simple job in general.

When your report is connected to the old model with old dimension - remove this dimension from report axis (page, row or column).

Then connect your report to the new model and add new dimension.
