Challenges in SAP BPC 10.1 embedded Testing automation

HI SAP Guru's ,

I am working in SAP BPC 10.1 Embedded NW in QA environment where we typically understand Business users Input template / Reports requirement and write test cases and execute them manually . Now my client is willing to perform this using Automation testing instead of Manual testing .

We have tried our best to understand the scope of the automation testing in SAP BPC Project but could not get much idea on it .

I would request to help me in understanding the challenges in having automation testing and also what are the possible scenarios where we can perform automation testing .

Hi Divya,

For BPC testing, the operations on input templates and reports involves more of analytical thinking and decision making, hence I believe at least to the part of report and input forms testing isn't always fruitful.

However for one of our project on BPC 10, in terms of performance testing we followed the below for performance testing.
