CDS View for Tax Date

Hello,

we are using TDT and we need a report which shows the tax date or at least the tax rate, which is valid for a posting line item.

Unfortunately I did not find any report or CDS View which includes this fields.

Is there any possibility to get this information?

Thank you for your question.

In summary, there is currently no standard report for CDS view that shows the Tax Date or Tax Rate directly when you make use of the Tax Determination by Tax Date in public cloud. You can workaround this by:

• Building a Custom CDS View on I_TaxJournalEntryItemCube or I_JournalEntryItemCube and include the Tax date field.
• Make use of a Custom Field & Logic enhancement to store the Tax Date during your posting.
• In regard to legal reporting, ensure to check if your DRC reports already show the applicable rate.

Hi Chris,

thank you for your answer. We solved the issue now with a datasource extension, we added the tax validity and it is okay for the end user.
