Cannot load 0COSTCENTER hierarchy

Hello experts,

(This error is happening in our QA environment, but DEV environment works OK. Both systems are on the same components level)

We're facing an issue trying to load one of our hierarchies into BPC from BW. We're loading 0COSTCENTER data, we've 2 CO_AREA, with 2 hierarchies (one for each CO_AREA) as is shown here:

For the 2nd hierarchy (CO_AREA GEBI), we can load master data and hierarchy nodes correctly, but when we try to load master data + hierarchy nodes for the first CO_AREA (EEB), the system shows the following BPC warning:

In the /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER package, we're passing correctly the parameters as is shown:

Transformation and Conversion files are OK, since second CO_AREA works and even if I pass an empty transformation, the same error shows immediately (less than a second every time we try).

We've also tried to pass the top hierarchy node to Member ID parameter, 99 in the Level parameter, everything, but same result.

Our system components in both environments are:

We've tried using EPM Client SP22 and SP24, same result.

Any suggestions? Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Andres,

in the selection first tab

ID BT B  A

remove the control area

2nd tab:

member ID is the top node of your hierarchy

everything else looks fine.

Thanks Andy,

I don't get the first concept you say:

ID BT B  A

You mean this?

If so, what's the propose of this? Anyway we cannot remove CO_AREA because we load in the same execution different CO_AREA and their respective hierarchies. The way we execute this here is just because ONLY that CO_AREA is not working.

Any other suggestion?

Thanks.

Hi Andres,

Yes, that is correct.

we used this dummy field so that AND option will work. (the bottom section where you can select OR / AND)

I know you are reading two different hierarchies, in the 2nd tab you can select which hierarchy to load.

It won't load any ID that is not part of the hierarchy.

try it and let me know.

Hi Andres,

can you take a screen shot of the 1st hierarchy?

Hi Andres,

I know you said your conversion and transformation files are fine, but:

  1. Are you using any javascript in the conversion to clean up the text prior to import?
  2. Checked that the destination hierarchy is correct in the conversion file?
  3. Verified the consistent use of internal vs external format during import?
  4. Have you also tried limiting the entire process to just import this one hierarchy/co_area?

I'm scratching my head for you!
