Cannot launch Excel EPM from BPC Web using Firefox

hi all

In the BPC web, I could use the SSO single sign-on by launching the EPM Add-In for Excel / Word / PowerPoint in the past.

However, after the browser (Firefox) update, I could not use it anymore. It showed as "Install EPM Add-In for Microsoft Office". However, EPM is already installed.

I'm currently using Firefox as my browser.

I did not face this issue with Internet Explorer... anybody knows why?

Hi Edmund,

Could you please provide your current EPM Add-In, Firefox, BPC and MS Office versions/patches.

Also check that NP.EPM.Plugin.xpi is still active in FF.

EPM Add-In version: 10.0 SP 21 Patch 1 .NET 4, Build 9122

Firefox version: 41.0b1

BPC version 10.0

MS Office version: 2013, latest patch as per today

How do I check NP.EPM.Plugin.xpi is still active in Firefox?

Hi Edmund,

You hava beta-FF, as I understand, it can cause issues. The latest release is 40.0.2.

To check: Tools - Add-ons - Plugins, NW EPM Plugin should be "always active"
