Hello,
i have been reading around the forum and I found a couple of posts about this, but I am not completely sure. Is it possible to set up automatic exchange rate upload in SAP ECC or do you need to use an external software that sends data from the governmental website to SAP? I will need to do this for Romania and Bulgaria, but also other countries in the future.
Thank you for your time,
Nikola Nikolov

Hi,
In SAP ECC, there is no built-in API for retrieving exchange rates. A common solution is to use transaction TBEX to upload rates from a file.
With TBEX, you can:
Upload exchange rates from a structured file (e.g., CSV or TXT).
Schedule batch jobs to automate the process.
Ensure consistency by integrating it into your financial processes.
Example: If you need real-time updates from government sources, you would need to develop a custom ABAP program to fetch the data externally and format it for TBEX.
