Can we create a new roletype in GRC Access Control

Hello GRC Gurus,

We are on GRC 10.1 & SP14,Can we create a new roletype (like AD Group) or we have to use the existing roletypes,the reason why I ask is we want to route the approvals based on the role types(BRF+ routing rule based on the new roletype).

EX : Roletype : Single : Approver A

Role Type : Business : Approver B

Role Type : AD Group(New) : Approver C

Hi Ramesh.

I didn't find any standard transaction or IMG configuration to create new role types (just to disable or rename them).

In theory, you could create it straight on GRACROLETYPE table, but I never tested and don't recommend doing this.

Thank you for your response,the note 2028353 talks about changing the description of the existing role type,but I want a new role type to be created in SAP GRC AC.
