Dears,
For sales order stock (E stock), normally the inventory valuation is separated with the normal inventory stock. For example, using moving average price, the sales order stock price will be different with the normal inventory moving average price.
Our requirement, even using sales order stock, we still want to use the same moving average price with the normal inventory stock.
In SAP OP version, by transaction code OVZG, we can change the account assignment group from M to A, then the valuation will be changed to A as well. A means "Valuation without reference to sales document".
But in SAP S/4 Public Cloud Edition, we cannot find the configuration path for this one, is it allowed to be changed in Public Cloud version 2502? Or need to activate some special scope item?
Thanks for your help in advance.

SAP Inventory Valuation in Public Cloud SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition does not support using the same moving average price for sales order stock and normal inventory stock simultaneously. The system handles these two stock types differently: Normal inventory stock uses the moving average price method, which calculates a new material price after each receipt by dividing the total stock value by the total quantity in stock . For sales order stock, SAP recommends not using the moving average price. Instead, the standard price method is preferred for internally manufactured materials [1]. When using valuated sales order stock, the inventory values are updated when goods receipts are entered for internally manufactured or externally procured materials [1]. For sales order stock managed on a quantity and value basis: The standard price is updated by the first goods receipt posting The moving price may change as a result of goods movements and invoices, and can be updated statistically [1] The system calculates the moving average price for sales order stock automatically by dividing the material value in the material stock account by the total of all warehouse inventories in a plant [1]. It's important to note that while both stock types can use moving average prices, they are calculated and managed separately. The public cloud version does not provide a built-in feature to use the same moving average price across both stock types simultaneously. For specific requirements or customizations, it's advisable to consult with SAP support or an SAP implementation partner to explore potential solutions within the constraints of the public cloud environment

Hello @Grace_Li1
In SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (2502), account assignment group configuration (e.g., OVZG) for valuation control between sales order stock (E-stock) and standard stock is not accessible, as IMG-level configuration is restricted in Public Cloud.
Solution
To apply the same moving average price (MAP) for both sales order stock and normal stock, you must:
