Hi BPC Friends

I have created with my user copy of the environment in DEV and QAS but to access to these new environments I have to log in with an user having SAP ALL.

Which authorizations should have my user to be able to reach the new environments in BPC?

Hi Michele,

Just ask security/basis team (who has SAP_ALL) access to add you as admin team member.

Just to access the environment, even if they add you to display team also, you can access the environment.

Hi,

If your user id is not present in the environment then you can not access that environment.

Please check your user id is present in that new environment. If not then please add your user id.

Hope this will solve your problem.

it is a new environment so I have to add my user with all the security stuff.

I used an user that doesn't exist in the environment but because it has sap all it is ok.

Because the basis team are not happy to give me the user with sap all I was wondering which authorization I should have to achieve that

Hi,

Correct because of the SAP ALL you can access the environment. For you case depend upon what type of access they want to give your user id. Like there are predefined task profiles also available like primary/secondary/system admin. Please just go through that profile you will get to know what  is the difference between them. and then you can assign task profile.

Hi Michelle,

For you to access the BPC front end login you need 2 roles in back-end necessary

/POA/BUI_UM_USER

/POA/BUI_FLEX_CLIENT

Other security is to be assigned when you login to BPC frontend.

P.S Please refer to the Installation and Security guides from the below link...

SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.1, version for SAP NetWeaver – SAP Help Portal Page

You will find the detailed information about the roles needed to access BPC. SAP_ALL is required only during the installation of BPC afterwards only 2 roles suggested in above post are required for access.
