I need to know what are the different BPC activities that should require re-build or will not supported while upgrading from BPC standard 10.1 (7.4 NW) to 2021 BW4HAN standard.
Also, what is approach for validation or testing?.
The standard BPC components (model/dimension/logic/reports/forms etc) might work fine post upgrade. (Still needs testing)
Custom Components (ABAP/ BADIS/Routines)- these might need adaptation based on changes in underlying structure due to HANA DB.
Remote conversion for BPC 10.1 and BPC 10.0 Standard Environment use backup & restore (UJBR) + Migration solution. In BPC 11.0 SP01, the migration program "UJT_MIGRATE_101_TO_BPC4" has already intergated into UJBR function, which means in BPC 11.0 SP01 the data migration will be executed automatically when you execute UJBR restore function.
