Hi,

Can completed Customs Declaration be automatically flagged for Archiving without using Tcode:-/SAPSLL/CDOC_STCOMPL.

If so, what is the process?

Thanks In Advance,

Shilpa

Hi Shilpa,

Yes, you can flag a customs declaration manually without going into the tcode /SAPSLL/CDOC_STCOMPL.

Use the change mode of the customs declaration, goto EDIT --> Close Document.

The system pops up a message if you want to close the document, once you click "yes", the flag for archiving is set on the document.

Hope this helps!

Hi Shilpa,

The Customs Declaration can be "completed" automatically by making the appropriate setting for the "Status" of the inbound message.  However, that Status may be modified by the code in Function Module /SAPSLL/CUHD_PPF_INBOUND_UPD, according to the Message Type.

Hope that helps.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your response.

Can you pls. elaborate --

by making the appropriate setting for the "Status" of the inbound message.

The requirement is for fully completed declarations to be moved to completed status automatically, then moved to the completed documents display. This is specific for declarations in e-filing which have multiple messages.

Hi Shilpa,

The "Status" is part of the customising for each Message - values such as "Acknowledgment", etc.

If you can tell me which Legal Regulation and Message Type you are using, I could investigate further...

Hi Shilpa,

Then I don't think you will have too many difficulties.  I'm not completely sure which value should be used, but '4' ("Receipt Acknowledgment") may be a good first choice.

Let us know how you get on.

Shilpa,

May be you can try the following :

Find out on which message your users wants to consider for closing

and check the check box of Determine Closing Portions and see if it works.
