 What are advantages and disadvantages of C_TS4FI_2023 over C_S4CFI_2408 and vice versa? How passing these exams helped you to stay competitive in the job market?

I recently passed the C_TS4FI_2023 certification, and I found it to be a great way to validate my knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting. My main reason for pursuing this certification was to enhance my expertise in financial processes and improve my career prospects in SAP finance roles.

When comparing C_TS4FI_2023 and C_S4CFI_2408, the key difference lies in the implementation focus. C_TS4FI_2023 covers core financial accounting in an on-premise environment, while C_S4CFI_2408 is tailored for cloud-based implementations. If you're looking to specialize in traditional SAP finance, C_TS4FI_2023 might be a better fit, whereas C_S4CFI_2408 is ideal for professionals working with SAP Cloud solutions.

The first and foremost rationale to clear the SAP Finance (CE or PE) is to go through and learn the entire finance module exhaustively, which otherwise is very difficult. CE vis a vi PE versions: my take is that cloud is the way to go, most of the companies these days go for cloud implementation os sometimes hybrid model. So if I have to pick one, I will pick CE2408 or newer, but it is completely individual's choice. 

Along with the implementation experience certification adds credibility to our consulting role. Along with the core concepts, certification also teaches methodologies integration aspects and latest developments e.g. AI use cases, role based fiori concepts etc.
