Bug in Access Control SP23?

We recently upgraded our sandbox (BXR) to Access Control GRCFND_A (V1200) and GRCPINW(V1200_750) SP23.  We attempted to execute a firefighting session in BXR towards BXR.  We were able to execute GRAC_EAM and update the popup menu.  However, when we clicked the green checkmark, we got the following error message (Unknown error during logon) and the session stayed on the logon pad menu.

We implemented SAP Note 3422129 - Unknown error during Firefighter logon if connector is not part of PROV integration scenar... and all prerequisites and also updated the PROV integration scenario but this did not fix the problem.  When trying to start a firefighting session, we continue to get the error (Unknown error during logon).

Is anyone aware of this issue and how to resolve?  Is it an unresolved bug in SP23?  We would appreciate any feedback.

Thank you,

Novella Jane Landreth

Hello All,

I found a solution to this. If you have setup a trusted RFC connection then you have to make sure that the RFC user has S_RFCACL object assigned explicitly to the RFC user and the firefighter as well.  Even If you try to assign the authorization via SAP_ALL, it will not work.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Ankit

Novella,

Please check the Note:
3427859 - "Unknown error during login" in centralized EAM
