Hi

You can create earmarked funds from your contracts and those EMFs will consume the budget; hence, there will be availability check. You can refer to explanation provided by SAP in IMG - Public Sector Management - Funds Management Government - Actual and Commitment Update/Integration - Integration - Integration Materials Management - Contracts - Define Integration Scenarios

hi i have done all the settings for earmarked funds, but the scenario is budget is consumed at PR level that is ok for me since client is creating contract with reference to PR but if we exceed the budget while creating contract there is no warning message say budget exceeded i want that to happen and if they are creating contract without PR the budget should also consume so how can that happen please help i have created earmarked funds settings as mentioned above but still its not working

Are you trying to say that the EMFs are created, following contracts registry, but they don't consume budget and there is no availability check on them? On what FM objects these EMFs are created then? If they are created on the correct Fund centre, Commitment item, etc. they are supposed to consume the budget and trigger availability alert, unless you made some deviations from the standard FM update profile settings.

Please, check documentation in the path I provided; it has step-by-step instructions.

Commitment plan is created directly from the contract (ME31K).
