Hello Experts,
Happy to see the functionality of the Advance payment collection functionality provided as part of the 2022 FPS01 release , and is very much required for all the business scenarios
In this functionality we are able to collect the advance payment and at a later date we can start the service. But a genuine business requirement is the period of the contract.
Scenario:
1 year subscription
Payment collection date today ( 09.05.2023) - we can create the solution quotation , subscription contract , Provider contract and BITS are generated and further invoice can be presented to the customer.
Service Start date is from 1st June(01.06.2023)
End date of the contract ( 09.05.2024) .
When the subscription is starting from 01.06.2023 , expectation from the business is that the contract should end on 01.06.2024. How can we achieve this?

Hi Nagaraj,
Usually, the contract end date CONTEND has the date rule CONT001 (Contract begin + validity period) so the contract end is calculated from contract start.
You can create a date rule replacing CONTSTART with BUSINESSSTRT and then assign the date rule to date type CONTEND. Thanks.
