Hi All,

In the BPF template , if we do following:

  1. create new template
  2. deployed
  3. modify the template by clicking "new version"
  4. and deployed back the template

When I click on the "Version", i will be able to see as below:

Question is :

Is that possible to go back to the previous version i.e. obsolete as shown above?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi

No.Once you deployed BPF you can't go back to previous version i.e Draft version. But you can copy the deployed version and modify or change as per your requirement. You can also modify or change activities tab of deployed version.

You can find more details about BPF or how to handle version in BPF below this link.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

If we cannot go back to the previous draft, what's the purpose for SAP to maintain the version display there?

Hi

As you know business process flow template are managed using version information. There are three types of versions available in business process flow templates.

  1. Draft - Draft is set by default for a new process template. This version can be edited and deleted.
  2. Deployed – Template in draft status can be deployed. Then you can create an instance for it.
  3. Inactive – inactive version cannot be used.

When the template is in Deployed status, users cannot make changes to the template. This version be archived either.
