Hello, dear colleguas!

We create Consolidation Model in BPC10.1 Embedded on BW7.5.

There are strange parametr we should select - Compounding Member for 0FISCPER in Advanced Settings advanced-settings.png .

We understand about compound member for 0FISCVARNT.

But what does mean selection of Compounding Member for 0FISCPER in Advanced Settings?

Is this a system error?

We will be glad any information and help.

Best regards,

Olga Ya.

Hello,

I think in the initial version of BPC using RTC (real time consolidation) for S4HANA 1610, the superior compounding values were not dynamic, their values had to be set through advanced setting during BPC model configuration. However, that is no longer a requirement in 1709. I found a blog that you may find helpful.

BPC Real-Time Consolidation (RTC) Initial setup

Leila, thank you, but we use BPC Embedded for replicated data. The question is "Why in Advanced setting we should chose two dimensions - 1. Fiscal year variant and 2. Fiscal year/period "

I understand why we should chose the first dimension, but I have no idea about second - Fiscal year/period

Hello,

Based on our documentation, text book from S4F90 course, and also my own personal experimentation, the Advanced Settings section is for mapping the compounding part of a compounded object. I recommend checking the definition of the fiscal period and fiscal variant in your configuration.
