BPC vs? IBP

Good afternoon gurus, I would like to know if BPC would comply with the requirements of a cash budget or would require use SAP IBP... Or, In that case it is convenient to use BPC or IBP Currently there is a Simple Finance and SAP BPC NW 10.1 (not embedded) Thanx in advance! 🙂

Hi Monica,

if you want to understand the relation of IBP and BPC (embedded) I suggest that you read the following document:

Whether special functionality (a kind of planning application) is part of IBP is another question. Here you should check the IBP documentation.

Hi Monica,

As per  my understanding Simple Finance is finance suite where as SAP BPC is meant for planning and consolidation.

Simple Finance uses SAP BPC for planning/budgeting (IBP). The only difference between SAP BPC 10.1 stand alone or IBP is the source data. IBP uses source system tables as source data where as BPC 10l1 uses BW objects.

Experts - Please correct me if I am wrong.
