We have a BPC implementation with one Live Environment currently.
My project is for a new Environment and Model (MARKETING) within this same BPC implementation.
Our consultants collected all of the Configuration and Master Data etc into a single Transport from our Development system to import to our QA system for testing. It was collected using RSA1.
However on import into QA we got a RC=8 which we don't understand.
The error was
Start of the after-import method UJT_LOGO_AFTER_IMPORT for object type (s) AAPP, AAPS, ABPC, ABRU, ACGA, ACLB, ADAF, ADMIN, ADML, ( )
Start after import in client 500 for RFC BIQCLNT-RFC; running client 000
Error occurred while importing
End of after import methode UJT_LOGO_AFTER_IMPORT (activation mode) - runtime: 00:04:17
We tried numerous things, checking RFC, re-importing etc, but could not find an answer.
After some research our consultants found a paper pointing to running UJA_DATA_CHECKER
This showed some missing parameters, and also InfoObject catalog /CPMB/MARKETING_CHAR, and also missing data access profile ADMINMBRACCPRF.
We corrected the System Parameter but the transport still failed exactly the same.
We checked SE06 and saw that /CPMB namespace was set to Not modifiable in QA. We changed to modifiable, but the transport still failed.
We noted in the BPC Installation (NW 10.1) that it recommends the Client open in SCC4 and a number of Namespaces and Components being Modifiable - but it states these do not all need to be opened in Production.
We opened the Namespaces and Components as described in QA but transport still failed.
We opened client in SCC4 and set all Namespaces/Components to Modifiable and finally transport went in OK.
HOWEVER, our internal controls state we cannot open client etc on our Live system without a very clear reason, and a failing transport is not a valid reason, unless somewhere there is SAP documentation which states that this is required.
We therefore need to understand specifically why the SCC4 or SE06 changes were required for transporting a new environment and find SAP documentation to show why I need to do this to move to Live.
Can anyone help??????
Regards
Simon

Hello Simon,
Can you please check both SAP Notes 2081345 and 337950?
Best regards,
Nedra.
