We are trying to make a decision if we would want to enable this - I know how to do it technially and maintain, but wanted to know - all else being equal, is it a performance drain? I wouldn't want to activate it if it made performance slower noticeably. Please advise based on experience from those that have used it.

Looks like you are talking about BPC standard, not embedded 🙂
And to answer your question: no, there are no performance issues with TDH enabled. And what is the possible reason? Just different hierarchy is used based on different keydate...
